New pieces in repertoire
We looked at some new pieces in preparation for the next Big Band Dance Night on 22nd April: I Wonder Why (Waltz), Sweet Dreams Are Made of This and Chattanooga Cha Cha (Cha Cha!), Ole Guapa (Tango). We also got Perdido out of storage, we haven’t played it for a while.

Our last rehearsal

Mixing has started
Most of the tracks have now been recorded. The first stage is the “comping” of the various takes prepared by each member of the band into a single high quality track for each piece. Most of that work has been done now. The next stage is to mix the various tracks into a high quality…
